A pen can be a thing of beauty - a writing instrument to hold in your hand, to pen a note to a loved one, or just to take notes in a work or school environment.
Whether you write all the time or just occasionally, its a pleasure to use a pen which feels right, that has texture and warmth, is tactile to touch, and you look forward to using.
A pen handcrafted from wood can be the answer to many people - but many have not even considered or been aware of these beautiful instruments, hand-made by people like me, that offer be-spoke, 'never the same twice' things made from woods from all over the world.
This is why I started 'the Scottish Penster' project - to offer the opportunity to other people and to show what a simple and value-for-money way of treating yourself or giving someone you care about with that special gift.
